In no particular order (except for the first name being number one) the guitarists who have most influenced me in my playing over the years, would be...

Jimmy Page

Rich Robinson (The Black Crowes)

Mike Campbell (Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers)

Peter Buck (R.E.M)

Joe Perry/Brad Whitford (Aerosmith)

Mike McCready/Stone Gossard (Pearl Jam)

John Squire (Stone Roses)

Neil Young

On the acoustic side of things:

Jimmy Page

Nick Drake

Neil Young

Jimmy Page

Jimi Hendrix

Brian May

David Gilmour

Jeff Beck

Peter Frampton

Jack White

And many others too, but these are my most favorite. One that I want to put in an honorable mention for, who would come after the usual others (EVH, Bonamassa, etc.) on my list, is Keith Urban. It's not the riffs, but the tone of his live guitar; it's very Pink Floydian and I really was impressed when I saw him in concert.

Another honorable mention to Glen Hansard; he gets the most amazing tone out of that beat up acoustic.
