yepp2005
i'd never go see a 'tribute band'. it's foolery! i tell ya, foolery! never heard of zoso, sorry. I am not sure how I feel about tribute bands but I dropped 20 dollars to go see ZOSO at the HOB in Dallas back in June. They played for a little over 2 and half hours and the show was freakin great! I have never seen a zep tribute band before and not sure what to expect but they seem to have it down. I checked out there website the next day and saw that they had been around for 11 years and played over 1700 shows during that period....that's alot! They played a typical 73 show set with some latter stuff mixed in....ended the show with Kashmir. Funny thing was they had a band called appetite for destruction....a GNR tribute band open up for them. They blew me away! Basically played everything off appetite and a few of their other songs. Both these bands were west coast bands making there first trip east. If either play anywhere close again I will go see them. Great value for 20 bucks to hear about 4 hours of my fav songs live. Evster2012
I've known the guys from Zoso for over 13 years. They used to be an Orange County, CA based band before they headed to Texas and beyond. They're a great tribute band. Good musicians who know their Zeppelin. The best? Who knows? A damn good time for any Zeppelin fan, I can say that much! My advice, go have a good time and rock out to some killer Zeppelin! If you're going to nitpick and scrutinize the guys' hairdos (ohh, that embroidery is on the wrong leg of his outfit), you're there for the wrong reason. Same goes for any tribute band. Just go out, join a roomfull of Zeppelin fans and have fun! Enjoy the show!

I came across this last night and thought I would respond. That's cool you know these guys. Your right, these guys know their zeppelin! When they played house of blues in Dallas the place was standing room only and they put on a great show! Were very excited about the next time they come through this way.
