I played his piano two days ago - no kidding!!! I visited RCA Victor Studio B in Nashville, and they let you sit and play the piano that he used to use when he was there. Way cool. Elvis is the man. B)

Really?

I'll be in Nashville for a few days next month. I'll go to RCA Victor to have a look around.

As Lennon said: "Elvis died the day he went into the Army"

Lennon was complelely wrong on that. He may have been a fan of Elvis' but he obviously didn't know sh*t.

Some of the best music Elvis ever made and some of the best concerts he ever gave occurred after he went into the army.

I remember that day so well, hearing the breaking newsflash on television. Just months prior I had refused a couple of front-row tickets to an EP concert which my grandmother offered because "I don't like Elvis". My mother reminds me of that to this day when she's trying to make a point of what an ignorant fool I can be.

Make sure you get by to view his Gold Cadillac at the Country Music Hall of Fame while in Nashville.

And to footsteps, is that the piano you played? Is RCA studio B reproduced in the Hall of Fame?

Nope, but I saw that one, too. :D I'll have pics in a week or so. The tour actually leaves from the Hall of Fame, but the studio itself is over on Music Row, still in its original location. It's pretty cool! Fun to see all those old tape machines and stuff.
