Dancin'Days
Did robert get that from an old song or did he make that saying up? I was going to ask, in a post, who's voice that was. Maybe someone knows?

mad dog
Did robert get that from an old song or did he make that saying up? He says that because the song does not have a bridge, only a A section and a B section. A bridge, typically the C section will lead back to the A section, Hence a bridge from C to A. Isnt music fun? ArmsofAtlas
It has to do with the fact that bridges in funk songs are discernible from the rest of the song.
McSeven
It has to do with the fact that bridges in funk songs are discernible from the rest of the song. If you want to go further than that. LLMaid has a bridge. The Crunge does not. Mc7

Aquamarine
The whole song's a sort of humorous homage to James Brown and that genre, really, which is one of the reasons I like it--you get to hear so few "musical jokes" (as opposed to funny songs, there are plenty of them). McSeven
Its so funny that this topic is about the James Brown Led Zeppelin connection. I love them so much. I listen to both on a regular basis. I play sax. I have a friend thats strateing to learn guitar. I hope within a year we can colaberate. I always wanted to have a band that fuses the influence of James Brown and LZ. When I do my sax horn riffs they sound like a Zep riff done by the James Brown horn sections. If you have not listen to James Brown. I suggest you find the Sex machine live cd and Love Power and Peace. Both those give you a good view on how he was in concert. James Brown is better live. Just like Zep.
