alucard
Word Magazine readers have been busy building this map showing where iconic album cover photographs were taken. A fun, interactive map ! http://www.wordmagazine.co.uk/album_atlas/FullListing.php Led Zeppelin's entries, Led Zeppelin: Houses of the Holy Led Zeppelin: Physical Graffiti Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin IV Led Zeppelin: Led Zeppelin For instance here's Led Zeppelin 1st album cover location, and you can zoom in, as I've done here for the St. Mark's location of the Physical Graffiti building. Olipticle
had a chance to check it out, Its acutally a really cool tool to see where all the albums where recorded at. I mean theres tons there and although the site is in beta. The maps are ok but do not get that close to the location all and all its a great tool to use to check out where your artists may ahve created your favortie album! croquet'n'cocaine
We had a go at this on another music forum a couple of years ago and ended up with some very obscure stuff, but I can't remember where it is now to cross-reference. I wonder if someone could work out where the original Zep II photo was taken.
Olipticle
i think its done by address and location i dunno if the site has a user base you have to subscribe to but if some it should be able to be added by address.
