Where did you get your STEREO? Maybe not so much as where as to what kind. There are so many places and so many different kinds. Maybe we can come up with a universal.

A Sony Home Theater system. I've had it for a couple years. Replaced the DVD player several months ago. The speakers are the best that I've owned in a very long time.

My stereo has 5.1. I hate cd's and I avoid listening to music from my computer. My stereo is all Pioneer. It's about a 2 years old. I was 13 when I got it, so 2 years is about right for it's age. My turntable is one of my most sacred posessions.

Pacific Stereo! Any West-Coast old-timers remember that place?

I do, I do! I believe they were on Market St. in San Francisco but I'm not 100% sure.

I wish I could afford a new system.

I don't remember :( My old stereo is up in the bonus room. Has a turntable that doesn't work; a dual cassette deck and a cd player (single); and ginormous 3' speakers. It probably came from either Sears or Best Products (this would be ~ 1986 or 87).

In the living room we use the dvd player as a cd player, but mostly play music through the computer now.

I've got this huge Pioneer system with gigantic Cerwin Vega speakers....always joke when people ask how many watts it is......."about 400 acres a side".
