Philly is a fun town right now with our Phillies on the verge of winning it in the World Series. My friend and I went to the Eagles football game where they beat the Atlanta Falcons 27-14 and then we parited till around 7:00. The Who were great as usual and Pete was really on. This was my sixth and possibly last time seeing them. If so, it was perfect. Zak was great on drums too.

I was also in the parking lot for the Eagles/WhoConcert/PhilsGame, enjoying the festivities. Ran into Pierre Robert for a few minutes. He nearly fell over with hysterics when asked, "Who are ya going to see? The Who or the Phillies?" And we answered, "Neither. Here to drink!" It was a wild night in South Philly.

Tea and Theatre for the finale? How did that one go over as a show-ending number?

Listening to it now....Just beautiful....With a great response from the crowd......Oh, and right at the begining of the show PT plays the opening lick to Hendrix's Little Wing...wonderful.

I saw the who on 10/22/08 in Hamilton. Great show! same set list. Tea and Theatre went over very well just Pete and Roger on stage, made me think of John and Keith. Roger still has one of rocks greatest voices, RP is still at the top of my list though

I attended the Who show this past Monday in Washington, DC. Overall I enjoyed the show, but was it really necessary to have Inward Eyes open? I would have preferred The Who play an extra 2-3 songs, either an acoustic set or a couple of instrumentals.

Excellent ending to Baba O'Reily(you almost had to see it) and I love Real Good Looking Boy. The Washington Post review called the later song "cringe worthy", which I don't get at all. The Tommy material sounded great, in particular Amazing Journey and Sparks. Nothing from By Numbers, but you can't have everything.
