Goze211 Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I've heard there are a few CD versions of LZ IV, some of which have the opening mandolin part of StH in the wrong channel. My disc I just got used has cat# 19129-2 (250 008) on it. Is this the faulty version? Quote
leddy Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 I think you will find the Mandolin was used on The Battle of Evermore. Quote

Electrophile Posted November 15, 2008 Posted November 15, 2008 Okay, Stairway isn't even my favorite song and I can tell you I've never heard a mandolin on that song. Quote

This was one of the reasons for the Jimmy's decision to release the remastered versions (1990). First cds where very very bad on audio. Quote
