Thanks I suppose that you mean the EDS double neck when you say SG... 1980-06-30 1980-07-02 1980-07-03 1980-07-05 There's more pictures of it but these are the best imo. Quote
mightyzep247 Posted November 29, 2008 Author Posted November 29, 2008 Well, I already knew about the double neck, of course, but I found this website with all of Pagey's gear listed and it said this: Gibson SG: he seldom used it, during the '80 tour. Here's the URL: http://www.zeppinhood.net/lzequip/index.htm Quote
danelectro Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 Can't say I've ever seen a pic. I remember him mentioning in an article he didn't like SG's due to the light weight or balance, SG's are kinds headstock heavy. Quote

Very strange, that is the first place where I've seen it being mentioned. I've listened to the shows that are available of the 1980 tour and I can't remember hearing a SG, but I could of course be wrong. Quote

kakdaddy Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 In Howard Mylett's book "Jimmy Page: Tangents in a Framework", there's a picture of Page playing an SG at a charity event in 77(?) in England with Ron Wood. Dont know if it's his or a loan. Quote
