Where do u think jimmy's black beauty is hiding?  :guitar_mood:

Dunno..Steve Fosset lost his life looking for it..................................

It's long gone now. My guess is that it was disassembled and the parts have been scattered. It's sad, it was a beautiful guitar, and Jimmy just wanted it back.

I think it is out there somewhere....I wish I could find it then I could email Jimmy and say 'yo, got your guitar but you cant get it back till you come over and jam with me'

It's either in someone's attic (and they don't know what they have)...

or it's in pieces (sold for parts) a long time ago, sadly...

I would do totally the same thing. I used to think about this alot and wished I could find it for him. Just to see him smile face to face would be so awsome!! I'm sure who ever has it doesnt realize it or it's for sale at some salvation army discount store. Oh the thought makes me sick!!

Since he was playing it as late as Apr.70, it's a pretty safe bet that it didn't go missing in Vancouver in Mar 70

Ok lets think about this for a minute. If the thief who stole it knew something about guitars (which he probally does) And with all the press and info that was released at the time I seriously dought the guitar was scrapped for parts. He or she knows what they have. Plus the statue of limitations for the theft has run out so if the person who ripped it off turned it in or gave it back the charges would be dropped. Or they just could have sold it without mentioning who it really belonged to. Just my opinion.
