danelectro Posted November 30, 2008 Share Posted November 30, 2008 Not a huge Brad Paisley fan but of all the modern country acts he's the one that doesn't make me want to vomit. When I heard he had a 'new' guitar album out I figured I'd give it a whirl. Well it is worth the whirl, there is some absolutely SMOKIN' guitar on it. Not all of it is country either, there's a surf tune, some instrumental guitar stuff a-la Eric Johnson. Worth mentioning a the few duets he has with other famous artists, these songs have vocals. One is a song he finished that was given to him from the Buck Owens estate, it was a song Buck was working on when he passed and BP finished it. If you like blistering guitar it's worth checking out.
