EzyEric Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 This is almost impossible to answer. I would say you would first have to pick an era or a year of Zeppelin. Ill try some: 69: 10-10-69 Paris 70: 09-04-70 Blueberry Hill 71: 08-31-69 Orlando 72: (you have it in how the west was won) 73: Southampton 75: 02-16-75 St Louis Blues or 03-04-75 Days Confused (neither of these are overall best, but they have the best overall sound I think) 77: 06-23-77 For Badgeholders Only 79-80: Knebworth (DVD will due) Quote

Does the earl courts performances exicst in soundboard audio? Quote
Dr. Giggles Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Listen To This Eddie the Mike Millard remasters has to be mentioned imo. Quote
EzyEric Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 On second thought. I was in your position the start of this year and i came on the forum looking for advice on the best boots and there was many threads already existing. I now have most all the major ones and its definitely been the best year of my life music wise. Knowing there was so many versions of my fav songs and hearing an even better version every time for months was just so rewarding. therefore I can only recommend you at least get the top 25. I will tell you what I did. First off on this forum some threads already exist. Best Zep Boots: http://forums.ledzeppelin.com//index.php?showtopic=7 Fav boots: http://forums.ledzeppelin.com//index.php?showtopic=5790 Fav versions of songs: http://forums.ledzeppelin.com//index.php?showtopic=6470 Dream Live Album: http://forums.ledzeppelin.com/index.php?showtopic=6305 I found and like this site: http://www.stryder.de/ http://www.stryder.de/rest/top_25_boots.txt And you probably already know but SBD = soundboard recording and AUD = Audience recording. Dr. Giggles Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 I was listening to Hampton '71 today. If you are looking for a scorcher of a show, that's it. Quote
audioservant Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I really love blueberry hill 09-04-70, just a great show Quote
Sibh23 Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 I was listening to Hampton '71 today. If you are looking for a scorcher of a show, that's it. Listen to Orlando from that year, even better. Quote
gadgetguru Posted January 11, 2009 Posted January 11, 2009 It may not be The Best, but it's the very first surface soundboard of the band and TODAY marks the 40th anniversary of this excellent, albeit short, documentation of early Zep. A must have for Led Zeppelin collector's. It's a very fine sounding cd. Quote
