bonzo1026
Hi everyone! im a new zeppelin fan and i wonder wich stuff i should get first? i want to start to collect zeppelin stuffs. I have just started to get the albums on vinyl, Anyone else have any tips? Take Care /Robert Hi Robert! Welcome to the board and to the wonderful world o' Led Zeppelin! Depends on what you're into and what excites you the most. WAY back when I started, I got alot of buttons, posters and T-shirts. Then I moved on to the rare collectibles. Collecting is very personal. Some collect bootlegs, 45's, imports, etc. Start where you feel most comfortable. It can get expensive. Ebay is probably the best place to start BUT be careful, there are alot of scam artists out there. Especially in the concert poster and autograph area. PM me anytime if you have questions about items you see. Welcome again and happy collecting!

LukeTheDuke
I'm a collector as well and the first thing I'ld like to suggest is: decide what to collect! There are sooo many items to collect that you'll spend a real fortune and you'll still have quite nothing I decided to collect led zep official vinyl records first and now I've about 1000 albums and 400 singles but I'm sooo far to consider my collection a big one! I don't collect bootlegs ... and that's another long story (check out all the web sites about that and you'll be surprised!). If you'll go for the records I've to suggest you my web site, for sure, because there's the biggest led zeppelin discography so you'll know what you've and what you're still missing. It's for reference only so don't worry about spending any money . Memorabilia, as posters tickets shirts etc it's another big story but I think it's really hard to know what's a true original item ... so be careful ... i.e. real original posters go for big money so it'll be really disappointing to spend a lot of money for a re-print that's have fun with your collection and if you go on ebay, take your time: you'll find what you want for a better price but take it easy and compare prices! If you'll need more infos please don't hesitate and pm me good luck
ms_zeppelin94
Yeh, like bonzo1026 said except get the led zeppelin dvd and then the bbc sessions cd Get the double-disc BBC Sessions - the one with the interviews I wouldn't really recomend getting Mothership or Early Days/Latter Days if you're a Zep freak. Don't get me wrong, they're good collections - for the people who try to be Led Heads. Both releases left out many crucial songs that are well worthy of being on a "Greatest Hits". An over-obsessed fan would be better off to buy all the albums (yes,I know it's not as cheap as Mothership but it's worth it)
