Personally I'm sure that Jimmy Page would have been aware of Chet Atkins at the time of the recording of Bron Yr Aur Stomp and,to my ears,there are very slight similarities. If you haven't heard it before, you WILL be surprised: And let's not forget that Page also stole Jansch's "Black Waterside" and just changed the name to "Black MOUNTAINside": Of course, Jansch was ripping off Davy Graham's original "She moved through the Bizarre": But it seems that Page copied Jansch's rip-off more than he did Graham's.
