punksandwich
Zee plane, zee plane !!! Mr. Roarke joins tattoo at the Great Gig in the Sky. First I knew of Ricardo was in the original Star Trek episode called "Space Seed". The Wrath of Khan movie was loosely based on that original part. I have it in my DVD collection, the series that is. I always got a chuckle when Herve Valleycheese would point out the plane and Roarke looked up too. RIP Mr. Montalban. I hope Captain Kirk can attend your funeral and pay last respects to his former nemesis.

jimmie ray
First I knew of Ricardo was in the original Star Trek episode called "Space Seed". The Wrath of Khan movie was loosely based on that original part. He played that part very well, and was quite the physical specimen back then. redrum
who can forget "reech Corintheean leather?" RIP The other day on my way out the library (people leave old magazines there for free), and I grabbed an old issue 'of The Atlantic' (June 1984) and took it home and inside there was Montalban in a full page ad for the car showing the nice seats. Melanie_72
He was such a cool dude and I didn't realize he was 88! I watched Fantasy Island all the time as a child and remembered him always saying at the beginning of each episode "smiles everyone, smiles". May he R.I.P. punksandwich
I saw him yesterday on RTN and he played a thief on 'It Takes A Thief' He was a bad boy!! I'm sure he played some Injun's in some old flicks too. I seem to remember him being a fierce warrior. Apache, Commanche or somesuch. Very debonair type of guy too. I bet he had as many ladies as Hugh Hefner !
