DragonTelecaster
A musicians worst nightmare! To me, this is actually a bit funny when you see it on the DVD. Forgive me, but I don't have the exact time on the DVD when it happens. During the playing of STH, Jimmy appears to miss a chord during a most critical part of the song. At that point, RP looks over at Jimmy and gives him an embarassed look a sheepish smile, while shaking his head. The part of STH that I'm referring to is right before the "If there's a bustle..." part. Kinda funny!
SuperDave
Not sure about this and I never noticed it. Will have to pop in the dvd and take a look.
ninelives
I never noticed either but to me it's not that big a deal if a musician makes a mistake on stage. Very often when they do they laugh it off or ignore it and move on.
SuperDave
I'm sure Jimmy has done this a number of times during his live performances. Some are more noticable than others.
Roxie
I'm sure Jimmy's looked over at Robert a few times over the years during "Trampled Underfoot" trying to figure which verse he was singing.

danelectro
No doubt chords and parts were duffed all the time, it happens when musicians perform live. But I'd be surprised if you can hear anything like that on TSRTS, much of that was "fixed" and has been heavily edited.
docron
Jimmy isn't exactly the cleanest player around. Just be glad they do more than play cookie-cutter versions of their songs like almost every other band does...
Mountain Hopper
Did you also notice that on STH at Earl's Court on the DVD that he finishes the solo with a broken string on his guitar?
Cactus
Did you also notice that on STH at Earl's Court on the DVD that he finishes the solo with a broken string on his guitar? Yes, the 1st string breaks toward the end of the solo, and Page covers by shifting down an octave, however the audio for the last lick of the solo has been replaced with one of the other Earls Court shows.
