Otto Masson
We end the debate here. Hardly. That innuendo in 'The Lemon Song' comes from Robert Johnson, and Plant only borrowed it.
NickZepp
let me wander in your garden and the seeds of love I'll sow from Houses of the Holy Actually that song is about the crowd if I'm not mistaken. The Houses of the Holy were the venues Zepp was playing in. During the HOtH era Robert wrote several songs about the excitement Zepp was going through at the time. The crowds were written about in The Ocean and HOtH. Dancing Days was about the after parties. The Song Remains the Same pretty much explains itself. NickZepp
Whole Lotta Love isn't really Zepp either. It's barrowed from Willie Dixon
barrios
Whole Lotta Love isn't really Zepp either. It's barrowed from Willie Dixon whole lotta love is led zeppelin's have you listened to willie dixons song from which it was "barrowed" ? either song sounds nothing like the other, dont be talking out the side of yr head, nickzepp, you sound like a journalist who spends hours trawling through records, scratching yr chin, saying this song sounds like this, oh, zep stole this, zep stole that, yeah, granted, zepp were highly influenced by other artists, to say whole lotta love "isnt really led zeppelin's" is like saying i wanna hold yr hand isnt the beatles, its little richard's ass
GetTheLedOut
That song is Robert Plant at his best. They're still lyrics in a Zep song, that counts.

There's no doubt about. Especially the more explicit lyrics. However the sound is exclusively Zeppelin. There's no doubt about it. That song is a Led Zeppelin song. It isn't a redo of 'You Need Love'
