No, he really was asleep, and they didn't wake him - it's the drummer from the Macabees, they also took pics of him with Dave Grohl .

How funny! I also didn't know who he was or the story behind the photo. I saw the Macabees when they opened for Florence + the Machine back in September so it is cool to place the sleeping face with a band that I have seen.

these 2 are probably the hottest i have seen him. the hairstyle is really nice. he had some odd hairstyles which distracted from his face at times. but this cut really works for him. you can see his face more while still keeping that longer rock star hair look.

BTW, his wife is such a lovely woman. Wonderful they are still together after all those years.
