Based on your argument I agree there probably was no 9/7 show.

Curious if anyone has any info on this show - it's 9/7/1970, not 4/7/1970. Browsing the tour dates, Zeppelin played Honolulu on 9/6 and then Raleigh, NC the very next night??? That's like a 10 hour flight plus you lose 5 hours. If they finished their show in Hawaii at 1 am, they wouldn't have gotten to NC until 4 pm the next day at the earliest. Absolutely insane, they should have killed Peter Grant (or whoever) for scheduling it this way. 

I've tried to do some internet sleuthing and cannot find a single mention of the Raleigh show. Not a recording, not an article, not a review, nothing. Just curious if it actually happened.

Did you sit on the lawn for $15 bucks at DTE ? Well worth the money. Hell, I'd pay that just to hear "Lines on My Face". I can listen to him play that solo anytime.

Yep, at DTE...actually it was $10 with one of the coupons they hand out, so it was definitely a good deal. Lines on My Face was one of the better songs of the night. I love that solo too.

Has anyone seen Frampton yet on his tour? I hadn't listened to him in a while, and I forgot what an amazing guitarist he was. I saw him this week, and the show he put on was just magnificent. All the favorites: Show Me the Way, Baby I Love Your Way, Do You Feel Like We Do, Lines On My Face, a few motown songs to open with, and a 15 minute encore of While My Guitar Gently Weeps. I really think he may be one of the greatest guitarists ever; I have never even heard his name in that discussion.

Definitely one of the best concerts I have ever been to, I would highly recommend seeing him if he will be around you.

I just heard it for the first time today. Does anyone listen to it a lot? Is there anything special about it? Do they play bootleg stuff, or just official releases? Do they have interviews or anything?
