  1. Well pretty much any band with a hard rock sound will eventually get tagged with the “Zeppelin influence” tag considering that they pretty much invented the genre with LZII.  Personally I have never found a whole lot in their music to keep me satisfied beyond some stuff from IV,  and maybe Kashmir and Achilles Last Stand.  There was some good stuff also on Physical Graffiti too but once I left my teen years I kinda moved on to other acts.  Though I do give the band credit for keeping their sound dynamic and not just doing II & IV over and over.

It's a decent 70's era rocker, nothing special.  However, I don't hear any kind of Zep or early Rush there, and it'd even be a stretch to compare it to the funkier stuff on Purple's Stormbringer album.

C’mon now.  Just because it is the Osmonds you can’t dismiss it as not having a sound similiar to Zeppelin or at least influenced by them. It  sounds nothing like the Glenn Hughes Purple.  No keyboards and no hokey vocals ala “Hold On”.  Believe me.....I know that album back to front as me and my friends used to amuse ourselves by reading off the lyrics as if they were poetry.

If you listen to this song and another from that same time period that actually made it on to the album called “My Drum” they actually sound more like a version of Soundgarden some 15 years previous.  And Soundgarden were definitely compared to Zeppelin.
