Crop Circles

In the USA even the government is ramping up the UFO narrative. I just can't imagine they would be trying to distract the people, nope, not them. /s

No ITTOD?
The fact that I had an incomplete set has always lurked somewhere in the back of my mind. When I realized I needed icon software for a work related project, the back of my mind dinged and said, 'Complete the set, make an ITTOD ico.'
Since I can't directly share the ICO files here on the forum, I've shared them on my Box account… Their respective links can be found above the pictures.

Sorry Wolfman. no. I wish I knew how the artist made them, so I'd create one myself.

I did a search here on the forums, did not to find these posted yet. Here's the link to where they can be downloaded, and below is a preview. I did not create these. Site says they are free for non-commercial use.

I'd probably get stuck on stupid and blurt out, "OMG you're Jimmy Page!?"

Discovery Channel series "Gold Rush" Season 10, Episode 10 aired on December 13, 2019. The title of the episode, "When the Levee Breaks."

Oh no no no - the blue powder coat on the Limited Edition? Well I'm not in charge, so no one will be fired. But really, if I was in charge I wouldn't fire anyone over the color scheme, but a trip to the happy Santa tool shed would certainly be in order! /jk
In any event, I look forward to playing when I happen upon one.
As an aside, I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas, and has a very happy New Year!

This looks a lot like the one that QVC was selling back in 1995. The ad for the print starts at the 29 minute 20 second mark of Mark Zep's youtube post.

I have tickets. Anyone know how I can meet John in Helsinki?
I really do wish that I could help you, but who knows? A band of four men once wrote something, that probably won't help either but one never knows. You could try to,
...walk the town,
Keep a-searching all around,
Looking for... John Paul JonesBut in all seriousness, have a great time at the show!

Short of an appeal and more bullshit, Spirit, and Taurus will slide back to obscurity with maybe the very occasional footnote about how once there was a case with one of their seldom heard songs sounding something like the start to Stairway.
Thing is, when you listen to them, they are just not the same. Generally, a million things are similar to bits of songs. Not much is the same.
Yep I agree.

Hopefully the accumulation of 25 years of pizza grease isn't going to raise the reserve, [if one exists].

Nearly everything I wanted to say about "Vinyl" has been said: the actor playing Grant sounded enough like him but he was seriously the smallest man that one would normally see at just about any event other than midget wrestling; and the actor that played Plant looked a lot like the transvestite in Silence of The Lambs, that uttered the words, to his captive in the hole, "It puts the lotion on the skin." One of the most (in hindsight) hilarious lines ever, while at the time and in context, very disturbing.
It was an interesting show, surely the Led Zeppelin bit made it even more so but I do plan to catch future episodes and I'll see how good they are now that the Led Zeppelin bit is surely over.

I just turned the television off but I just watched,
Nova: Season 42, Episode 8 -- Emperor's Ghost Army
"Nova's examination or how thousands to terra cotta soldiers in Qin dynasty's terra cotta army were created digresses into reviews of Qin history and technology." IMDB
It was very interesting and I would recommend it to anyone interested in the subject or history buffs in general. It was very kid-friendly if you're needing something of that ilk. The coolest thing is that the crossbows are still in good working order!

That's very sad to hear. He was one of the truly gifted humans that lived while we too were alive.
When a Man Loves a Woman is so beautiful and has touched my soul since the first time I listened to it. I think the song describes the human experience to a tee, in plain English that is so masterfully crafted.

What a blast that video is, I think that whoever came up with that idea and whoever implemented are both freaking geniuses!
I'm with you nirvana, the 1970's fashion were smoking hot! It was really a great time to be young!

haha yea I saw that, Chumlee ripped that guy off lol.
Yep that Chumlee is the power-pawnbroker of the week--probably the first and last time we'll see that happen!

The latest episode (Season 9, Episode 52) of "Pawn Stars" on the History Channel had a pretty interesting bit on the Starship One. The pawnee [sic] brought in a picture of the Starship One when it was Led Zeppelin's Starship One along with some official Starship One matches, that were apparently kept in the on-board amenities stock. The pawnee had a dozen small boxes of the strike-on-the-box matches that had names of the different rock bands that flew aboard the plane, printed on them, including of course, a box of Led Zeppelin matches. Turns out the matches were verified as real and valued at $2,400.00 USD, the pawnee was paid $700.00 USD by the pawnbroker for the collection.

Every time that I see Jason play or in a video, I can't help but think of him as that cute little boy in The Song Remains The Same, who was making his doting dad the happiest man alive at that moment! Then I hear how loud he plays and he sure does remind me of his dad in that regard! Thanks for posting these videos, I wish I had more time to get around and read / watch all that's posted here, but even though I don't I really do appreciate it all. It's hard to believe that Sammy Hagar is 67 years old, I can only pray that I will look nearly that young and healthy when I reach that age in less than two decades.

It's rough man, she sounds like a drunk chick at a karaoke bar!
If not for her father, a drunken woman at a karaoke bar would probably be her spot-on description.
