Excellent....I have been watching a lot of videos of playing and techniques. It is definitely a coordinated art getting used to the 4 mallet manipulation and using my left hand. Oh and learning music theory from the beginning.

Does anyone play this instrument? I recently acquired my grandfather's 1929 Deagen vibraharp and since I am the keeper of this not so ordinary instrument ,I want to learn to play it. I wish I had shown more interest when he was alive but did enjoy listening to his beautiful playing at Christmas and Easter. I came across this video as my inspiration to set a goal.

Thank you all for the congrats.....I did not illustrate but had a friend who does that sketch 12 illustrations that are in the book. I picked the graphics for the c over and the publishing co design team put it together.

I fixed bacon, scrambled eggs and an upside down cinnamon apple pancake. All cooked in my cast iron pans.
I've really gotten into trying to cook in my CI pans lately. Everything just seems to cook and taste better using them.

Thanks to you all for the birthday wishes....it was such a great day for me...one I will remember for sure.
I did to practice runs screaming down the track...first run 61.2 mph...second run 65.49 mph, time 4.9 seconds but I redlighted. Those lights on the christmas tree are tricky to anticapate. Last run, which was the actual compitition was 75.33 mph in 4.2 seconds but I broke out...which means I went to fast.
Oh yeah....birthday wishes to potted plant and badgeholder.........
