If the Provincial Liberal budget wasn't enough..I made the mistake of turning on the tv this afternoon only to see that the Federal Liberals are having a Liberal Fest in Montreal today. 50 speakers from across this land are speaking about their ideas. Hey I wasn't invited..ohh..I guess people who might rock the boat didn't get an invitation...I guess that's why Ann Coulter is gone...gone...gone now from mon pays...

Have enjoyed your posts! Hate to admit it, but I got an invite to participate in the L Fest - via the interwebby thing. Didn't take them up on their offer, but ... don't think it would make much difference anyway
I'm not sure what to make of the state of Canadian politics. Doesn't look overly democratic or even competent (Guergis and her hubby Jaffer to start with??WTF??) Harper doesn't inspire confidence or even trust at this point (could we ever trust him?) Jack is busy dealing with his cancer and Ignatieff leaves a bad taste in my mouth. A few years ago, I listened to question period and I couldn't help thinking that I was listening to the "B" team. A quick listen recently hasn't changed my mind. Can you believe it? I miss Joe!! (Joe who? hehehe) Oh well. Looking for a new job Juliet? I'm sure that you would do at least as well as the current lot of elected officials, provided you woke up in the morning!!!

At my school, these guys did Dont Stop Believing with wigs, glasses and guitar hero guitars for the talent show. Now on our stupid little 8th grade video, we all have to lip sinc to this song and it's supposed to be our "Official 8th grade song" or something. A terrible end to nine terrible years at this dump.

I am happy because all week, I was busy with subbing work, and my night school job is paying well too.
I'm also happy because ALL my car repairs are going to be DONE tomorrow! Yessss! My boyfriend replaced my belts, front axles, flushed my tranny, I have new tires (got them in December), and my brakes and alignment are going to be done tomorrow.
THAT makes me a happy girl. No worries on the automobile front.
Oh yes: and I ordered contacts today. I've been wearing lasses all week, so that made me happy too.
Thanks Manderlyh!I am getting so excited, we're watching the opening ceremonies tonight. And my in-laws will be here (they live a few thousand Kms away) - so, I have a clean house (another thing to be happy for:rolleyes:) Glad to hear the car repairs will be done and you will be road worthy again - its so nice to have a car!

Partnering with a new guy (signed deal over a breakfast meeting), who will help create my new website, be my graphic designer and creative director. We're starting from the ground up, new hosting, new databases and build from there. I am confident in this guys ability to make my company shine - so I am happy this morning

I KNOW!!!! It's CRAZY!!!!!!!!! The events have been chosen for us - we're seeing Ice Dance(final), Men's Hockey (Quarter final I think), Women's Hockey (FINAL!!!! GO Hayley Wickenheiser!!!!) and the Men's and Women's Short Track Speed Skating.
To all my American friends - Sorry, the ladies hockey team will finally get the job done, and claim the gold for us, to end the "at home" medal drought!!

Hubby won a trip to the Vancouver Olympics - for all 6 of us for a week!!!!!! His company is picking up the airfare, hotel and we're going to see 4 events! And they've kitted us out in all new Olympic wear - it is SO awesome!!
I am FLOORED every time I think about it!!

As for my thoughts, they are very liberal, but these days, not often Liberal. Democratic, Yes! Sadly, none of my thoughts are New. They are never Conservative, and almost never conservative.
I have some ideas on the way of things, but they never make me popular, so, ... f*#k'em!
