  1. Thank you to Zep Head and others for their rhythmic comments that backed up my discussion of Bonham's swingin' back beat and how he played behind the beat, etc.
  2. I thought that member of this forum would be interested in the January Issue of DRUM!, which is a Special Edition on John Bonham. Here's a link that summarizes the issue: http://www.bravewords.com/news/196167#.UN2-L3T_dps.email
  3. Hi: Just thought that members of this forum should know that the Traps Magzine Infamous story on Bonham is still available. Here's the link: http://www.drummagazine.com/features/post/john-bonham-story/ It's really a great read. And, your forum is great.
  4. http://www.drummagazine.com/features/post/john-bonham-story/ The following link will take you to a very special story on John Bonham, originally published in DRUM! Magazine's sister pub, Traps. It's a 25-page opus to Bonham. The story was written by Chris Welch, famed writer for Melody Maker. I think that you will find this story very compelling.
  5. I'm sorry about that. I'm new to the site. Again, didn't mean to re-post.
  6. I don't want anyone to think that I'm spamming. DRUM! Magazine is currently offering a free e-book download, which features both John Bonham and Jason Bonham. Visit www.drummagazine.com for more info.
  7. Hi: I guess that I will do the intro thing here. I've been a drummer for more than 20 years and I can safely state that John Bonham has influenced my drumming in so many ways. Additionally, I've been a writer and PR person for DRUM! Magazine. I have written extensively on Bonham. It's a common fact that Bonham, may be the most influential drummer of our era. That's what I think. Best, and thanks. Drummer40
