  1. If I'm buying a coffee at Starbucks, it's usually a venti, non-fat, peppermint mocha - with whip. Or a hazelnut coffee. That's rare anymore though. In the summer their frappuccinos are nice and refreshing.

Yesterday Starbucks announced a new political campaign called "come together", Some plan to influence congress to settle the fiscal cliff budget impass. As if caffeine doesn't get your blood pressure up high enough already; now you get political slogans on your cup.

I buy Yuban coffee at Walmart in the 3lb cans. Walmart usually has way better prices on coffee than the grocery store. If I don't have time to brew my own before work, I'll grab a cup at 7-11 or Circle K for less than a buck.

  2. Idk about German mustards - apart from the mustard gas they used in WW1, the dirty Hun - but I sometimes use French varieties.

I think we get the distinct impression that Americans generally only like plain things.

Well, I agree when it comes to not putting that fishy worsteshire sauce in tomato juice. So what is the deal with the English and tomatoes? Can tomatoes even grown anywhere in Britain?

  3. We also gave you English Mustard, yet you insist on using that watered-down crap on your hot dogs? And don't get me started on your beer, haha.

I actually use Coleman's mustard in my homemade baked beans but never on a hot dog. But the German mustards are better than the English mustards you would have to agree? And why is it that everyone thinks Americans only like plain yellow mustard?

  4. I like coffee but I can only drink it black. I laugh at all these ridiculous places like Starbucks and all those foo-foo drinks with whipped cream and sprinkles on top.

Call me cheap but a cup of coffee isn't supposed to cost as much as lunch. And tea... forget about it. Tea is that Lipton stuff and you put ice and lemon in. I guess I'm just old fashioned when it comes to these kinds of drinks. And I wouldn't even know what a latte is.

Hot chocolate: yeah, I had that before.... when I was 6.
