What's all this talk about wanting "new stuff" to be worked on. Even if "that" happened, they'd still be expected to perform the "old stuff" on tour. And how would they agree, all agree to perform it. Plant solo style, Page & Plant style, O2 style??? There's not a pipe big enough for these dreams. I'm expecting nothing. If it wasn't O2 style, I wouldn't be interested at all. There is not reunion, or reunion gig in the works. But no one can stop you from dreaming..
I agree, there should never be a TOUR, another rehearsed one off show would be great though

New interviews with the band on Spotify tonight!!!!

Was watching that months ago, rewound because the scene was intense, and I realized In The Light was playing, perfect lyrics and haunting music for that scene

When the Levee Breaks credits Memphis Minnie and always has. I guess reading comprehension is not your strong suit, much less research.

July 4, 1990...Knickerbocker Arena in Albany, NY...Plant interviewed backstage for live radio broadcast 'Rockline'; takes an on-air call from Tortelvis of Dread Zeppelin.
July 20, 1990...Community War Memorial in Rochester, NY...Plant's publicist cancelled a pre-coordinated meeting between Plant and Dread Zeppelin when she learned a local club was promoting Plant was to perform onstage with them.
October 26, 1990...Tipitina's in New Orleans...Plant attends Dread Zeppelin's gig. I don't remember if they actually met that night or posed for a photograph together. I don't think so...I think Robert did choose to remain "incognito".
Now thats a mystery solved, I was told Plant was going to perform with Dread Zep that night in Rochester NY, so I went to the bar after the Plant show, no Plant LOL

Robert at the very least was able to get on musically a lot faster than Page was after Bonham's
death. Jimmy between 80 and 83 was so sickly Some of the photos taken of Page in
those years are sad to see. Haha I say some and not all because hey sue me, I can always find
something appealing about the dude even during those dark years.
I wonder what Bonham would have done musically if he had lived. I kind of get the feeling
he would have enjoyed just chillin' at home with Pat and when the call came to revive the
band for a reunion he would have gladly joined in after some rest. I can't picture him doing a solo
project. Although his voice in my opinion was quite decent.
I wish that Bonham would have just done drum projects, around LZ activity

Thank you, Mel Bay.
Let's take a quick moment to summarize what we know:
LP Man = bar mitzvah, Quiceneras, & jr. High School dances
Jimmy Page = Worldwide acclaim and musical immortality
What kind of a nut climbs on this board to tell Jimmy Page how he shoulda held his guitar? Somehow, someway, 39 years later, Page's turbulent '77 output is collected, shared and still enjoyed by apparently many despite the fact he couldn't figure out how to hold a guitar. Go figure.
Jimmy Page, style over substance. Astute observation. I'll keep that in mind next time i spin my favs from '77.
My Les Paul has been hanging below my waist for pert near 30 years and i haven't experienced any of those symptoms. But maybe that's why i'm not playing any Quiceneras. Dios mio!
Thank you, Mel Bay, best opening to a reply I've ever heard, LOL LOL LOL

Since Page and Plant are in town together, they should throw together a little concert, maybe a acoustic show

It's brilliant, but it lacks diversity and is somewhat monochromatic, with no real hit. ITTOD had way more going for it in terms of diversity and accessibility. I love both albums, but I can clearly see why Presence was not a commercial success, compared to other albums. It is an album of "deep cuts".
Monochromatic, thats a great way to describe Presence, I love the album, but in a sense it's like ONE Big Song, Monochromatic, nice Dark Lord
