To be honest with you, you fucker, I know most of the bootleggers personally. I've been visiting Japan three times and met all of them, listened to some very interesting stories of how that market has been working for years. I could supply them with lots of recordings I have in my possession but this is the last thing I would dream about 'coz once sold or shared, these tapes will be no longer as valuable as they are now.

To tell you something more, I have Indy & Baton Rouge 77, as well as many other rare stuff and I can assure you that because of fact I haven't sold them out, I could get more uncirculated stuff instead. Simple as that.

So, you cunt, you have absolutely no knowledge of how the things are going really. You're like a small boy, yelling "gimme more" all the time but nobody listen to you.

I'd rather share my stuff freely and have it bootlegged than keep it to my self so it doesn't get bootlegged. Your logic is foolish.

As I said before: beware of customs. It's a big company, so they do everything by the book: they tell the value of the package on the outside, so customs can easily see and decide whether you have to pay import-duties or not. AirRaid says it's a gift, value 1000 (sometimes 2000) yen.

I've heard of using proxy services is a good thing for out of state people. Would this be the same situation?

  3. I've wanted to get stuff from Yahoo for awhile now. Mainly because they have a lot of good releases for cheap buy now prices. I've looked at shipping prices and its not at all bad. Is it still a good option to get bootlegs?

In case anyone needs them, here are some download links (mp3 and flac):

I have to say, I am blown away by how hot this show is.  To be honest, I've never thought the Japanese shows, great as they are, were that much better than the smoking shows from North America a few weeks earlier.  Plus the fact that this board was incomplete, I wasn't too excited about this release.  Glad to say I was very wrong, sound and performance here is amazing, esp. HB, D&C, and STH.  (CD is fun, not as good as Toronto.)

    Thanks!

A few weeks? 😂😂 75 weeks is my guess. I ordered mine august 26th 2018, received from AirRaid September 4th.

It appears to be some bug on the AirRaid site: every “new” link in yellow gives you the same photo of this set.

I thought it was the new 928 sbd artwork 🤣

Ignore him. He's a hypocrite. When the LTTE alternate source popped up a couple of years ago, he had a complete meltdown because the taper wouldn't give his master tapes to him (and him alone) so he could work his "magic" on them and polish them up. If that's not the epitome of the "gimme gimme" attitude he claims to rail against, then I don't know what is.

When you put out three separate releases based on the same date you gotta be milking it for sure. Now I understand EV every few years re-releasing old sets. Im not sure if they remaster them or not but this isn't a problem to me. For example I would love a re-issue of the Australia and New Zealand tour boxset. There defidently a new releases needed but thats just my opinion.

Just want to mention EVSD: they just released a 15-cd box - a mere 2000 yen - with the work done by “nakedeye25” and upped on DIME 3 months ago: “Evolution Is Timing”.

Exactly the same songs, cd’s and song separation on those cd’s.

Someone at EVSD has done an incredible job... 😜

Huh. Never knew Moonchild was a sub label to EVSD.

For some funny comparison on how quick these things can actually get made....EV just released a new version of their "Sun Vanishes" Cream bootleg, using the Nite Owl remaster that was uploaded to Dime on December 14, 2019. As of January 9, 2020, people were already posting pictures online of the new EV release.

So, that means that it took approx 3 weeks total to go from Dime download to pressed cd, with full custom artwork and obi, all assembled and stamped with a "limited edition" number, put into a plastic sleeve, and onto the shelves in the bootleg shops.

    Talk about a fine-tuned process!

They come out quickly I tell ya! The Pink Floyd label Sigma maybe puts out 2 releases a month!
