This is a True story and not GFRR fluffing anything up! Grand Funk Railroad was known much later as Grand Funk. They were a Michigan band that had sort of avoided their home state after the Atlanta Pop Festival so this was their "Homecoming" after gaining acclaim....I have friends that were there and reported the PA and Amps going quiet, unexpectedly, mid gig...Zep waited 90 minutes before finally taking the stage to a smaller audience as many had left...I have seen Zep and am also a big fan of theirs...but that night at the Olympia in Detroit their manager bullied the Funk...
