The long haired guy setting up the gear is Eric Barrett who used to be Jimi Hendrix guitar tech and road manager. In many of Jimi's videos, he's always asking for Eric because of equipment or gear issues. As I am into gnosticism, I keep thinking, I've seen it somewhere. It looks like some sort of insect...cricket... insect symbolism?
