11.3. 1975
This one had one of the lively IMTODs
-
That was the case, yes. Strained in multiple ways.
I have been wondering the on/off nature 73-77 and that must have partially been related to staying up late and partying and just using the voice in the long nights. I think there’s nothing else that could explain it especially when it could go from worse to better during consecutive nights.
What is weird thoughis that he usually came out a little bit more hoarse after longer breaks after 72.
He used every inch of his voice.

The work has already started in the 73 thread

Holy thread revival!
28th of April is a top five from 77.
30th of May is top ten, if not top seven.
Edit: need to do some math if TOP10 would include:
21st, 22nd, 23rd, 25th & 26th of June
28th of April
30th of May
Leaves some room for a couple of MSG shows and Pontiac/ whatever

I remembered this is a good one but still was caught by surprise by the audio quality and the performance itself:

Continuing on the bass/ drums... I am not a headphones man but use speakers and volume. Recently updated the surround system (finally) with a proper subwoofer so it is fun to hear (read feel) every bass drum kick.
...and to add that this specific show has a very lively Achilles from Bonham Page barely hanging on. Good stuff.

How unfortunate that even AI could not sober Jimmy up!
True about the drums and bass in general. Waiting for your EC work whenever it is that you (re)do those.
Edit: AND 28th of July 73 if that is within salvation.

Plowing through this one... It is good, although the original one was good too.
It is great how an average or slightly above average show comes alive with a remaster like this.
-
As good as 75 gets…

RAH Heartbreaker… it did what it says on the tin

Gotta say it, this has had me cracking up for a long time.

OK
just had a fast look at the site as found their stuff in my junk mail.
It can remain there 😂
A good heads up.

Gravity Stereo com the new discjapan?

The Draq Queen of New Orleans.

Stoke 73. My newly acquired subwoofer pays dividends with the drums on top SBD mix.

Yeah, the cuts, angles and bloody everything… EC feeds preserve some presence and energy but this is like shot in a void.Digging the job you’ve done!

North Bridge Seattle 77 video. At NQ now. This is no train wreck. Low on energy somehow although Bonham is pushing it a little. Just the beginning of OTHAFA solo, WTF happened 😂
(have listened and seen the unremastered versions a couple of times before, not the go to 77 show and unlikely will ever be, but anyway, video is nice although it somehow kills the size of the event completely)
-
This club gig was remastered last November. A nice one. A funny drum solo/ jam plus good renditions of Fire and I Feel Love (the vocals are a stretch though, haha) on top of their own numbers
-
Burned to CDs, naturally 😂
-
Still cannot get past the cosplay but kudos to the sound and execution.
-
True, haha. They also skipped the dancing dwarfs.
