  1. Let me help you out, Shorty - er, Bonnie. Dzldoc posted something unflattering about me first (in response to a post I made to the Beautiful Woman thread which had nothing to do with him), and Rorer717 was - unsurprisingly - the first to post something unflattering about me in this thread. I'm not hurt about any of this, merely giving as good as I get. At the end of the day nothing changes the fact most women (not "librarians", Mona) find me attractive and those two wise ass rednecks are still just a couple of keyboard warriors.

You know, Steve, there isn't anything wrong with being a "librarian."

  2. I'm even considering getting my son the vaccine. And I'm very partial to vaccines, seeing as they have been linked to Autism. And the H1N1 (swine flu) vaccine has been linked to Guillain-Barre syndrome. Don't get me wrong, my son has had all his vaccinations. But that doesn't mean I don't fret over them.

Good luck on staying healthy!

I would suggest carrying some hand sanitizer with you when out in public. I even spray my basket with lysol, and wipe it down before I put my son in it. People look at me like I'm crazy. :bagoverhead:

It's natural to fret and worry about that stuff when you're a parent. The thing to remember is that the chances of that happening are very small. :)

I do carry hand sanitizer with me in my backpack, it's probably helped me a lot, haha. Hey, you might get crazy looks, but there's no harm in being careful.

  3. My mother-in-law, who I live with, has the flu. The Dr. says it could possibly be swine flu. I am so scared that my toddler might get it. It's almost impossible NOT to get it in the area I live in. I have been spraying everything with lysol, and using hand sanitizer like crazy today.

That's not good. :( I hope she doesn't have it, and that if she does, your child doesn't get it. That would be terrifying. I'm really surprised I haven't caught it, yet, too: half the people on campus have it.

    Yuck.

  4. At least that's what I hear is the opinion of some people who would prefer noise over The Beatles and call the latter "unlistenable"

    Well, whatever floats your boat.

Me? It's no secret that I absolutely love the Beatles and their music.

  5. Hehehe...I remember watching the film as a child. I always thought I'd live in a house like that one as a grown-up!

In fact, I'm still working on it... :chickeddance:B)

Realistically, I guess it would get annoying. I mean, you wouldn't really have any privacy, would you?

  6. I know you were joking, Mona. :P I was just being me.

I've sorta fallen away from the Beatles a bit to be honest. I used to love singing along to the Beatlemania albums, and then I've recently truly realized the awesome genius of albums like Abbey Road and The White Album (even though I've been listening to The White Album for years, I never fully listened to it from start to end)

I think you do have to listen to them a lot before it really hits you how genius their work was.

They are really my favorite band at the moment, thanks to my music class. I've fallen in love with them all over again.

I bought the movie Help the other day, too. Their house in that film is awesome, and I totally want John's bed.
