Band loyalty and how much (or how little) he's contributed doesn't mean shit, I read an interview with Tommy that said he was only in it for the cash. I'm sure when (and if) he and Westerberg decide to reform the 'Mats he'll drop Axl like the sack of worthless shit that he is.
Oh, and taking your own words into account, your opinion isn't acceptable here unless you play an instrument and have sold a million records.
You haven't seen ANY interview saying that, because I have read every interview this guys has done, and I don't recall that.
There have been several mentions of reunions over the years, and of course Tommy's loyalty has been Guns n Roses, whether they were serious mentions or not.

There has never been any evidence that he has done this for the money. He's been in GNR for nearly 10 years. He has been recognized as a major contributor to the band. More than enough articles and interviews out there showing this guy's loyalty to the band, and vice versa. So, let's stop this talk about him just doing for the money, because it's not true.

As I have proven before, and as you always prove, you aren't knowledgeable at all. You regularly recite bullshit from stuff like GNR's Behind The The Music, and various other trash.
I have already dealt with you, and I'm not interested in dealing with it anymore, so how about you stop trying to talk to me.

Awful argument also, this thread is about GnR, not exclusively for those who blindly worship them. I personally am a massive fan but anyone with an objective opinion will say Axl Rose has not delivered what the fans desire (simply as he hasn’t delivered anything for the past 15 or so years). It might do you some good to hear these opinions, as you seem a bit blinkered here. Just because you criticize the band it doesn’t make you any less of a fan, it just shows you are capable of independent thought.
Oh, and I’m allowed to criticize as I’ve sold 10 millions albums worldwide.
1. I am on no "windup" and I am not "angry", so if that is what you're interpreting, then you are wrong. I suggest a closer analysis of the others' posts in this thread. You seem to be confused or biased.
2. An artist's job is not to "deliver" to the fans. An artist's job is to make music he is satisfied with, that he wants to perform, and that he can comfortably put his name on. This isn't about the fans. It's about a personal mission to accomplish what the person wants to accomplish. Axl Rose doesn't owe us anything. It's our choice to take an interest and be fans.
Now in regards to this thread: these are not "concerned fans" who feel "let down" by Axl Rose. The other two people in this thread are relentless GNR basher's who are ignorant, misinformed, have a severe lack of knowledge, and have a consistent agenda. They have continually bashed Axl Rose at every opportunity on this message board.
As I said before, if you aren't a fan, stay the fuck out.

Unbelievable.
When music has the power to become the soundtrack to a period of time in your life, that is special.
When a piece of music can put you right back in that place, and bring along with it all the emotions that were present at that time, it is sacred.
Amazing.

Both of you are completely off the mark, I'm just a music fan like everyone else. As such, I also have an opinion and my opinion is that Axl is an egotistical asshole. I have just as much right to express that opinion as someone who has their head up Axl's ass and thinks everytime he takes a shit he's laid some kind of golden turd. I, like many, many other music fans around the globe, are watching in anticipation of this album that's been in the works now for well over a decade. I don't have to be some diehard fan to express an interest in it's outcome. None of that has a thing to do with having to get in the last word or any other misconceptions you may have about me.
No, I think I'm right on the mark.
If there is a band which I do not like, or if there is a band with a member that I do not like, then I avoid talking about that band or that member. If I feel I need to voice my opinion, I voice it once, and then I avoid further discussions about it.
You on the other hand, are obsessed with coming into GNR discussions, and bashing Axl, over, and over again, with no real purpose, and nothing important to contribute.
You are not having any sort of real discussion, you are just on a bashing fest.
That is a sign of a bored, frustrated, obsessed, and rather sick individual.
Did Axl fuck your sister, or perhaps your mom or something? What's the beef?

Jahfin is like some sort of misfit that is living all alone in some dark grimy room, with posters on the walls, thinking he is some cool music critic, when in reality, he is an antisocial being who relies completely on music to define himself, yet is completely incapable of creating any real relationships.
He may attempt to go to a local music store and try to start a conversation, but when he finally has the balls to do it, the other person tries to end it quite quickly, as they are made uncomfortable and are well aware they are talking to a "special person".....(one who they feel may forcibly abduct them, throwing them in an old rusted out, tinted windowed Chevy van for who knows what.....).
So instead, he comes on the internet, where he remains invisible to those he is conversing with, while he tries to establish himself as an authority by posting any and every obscure article, just so he can make others think he knows everything.
It's a rather sad situation.

Let's see here........what made me happy? Well, I guess not sleeping late. I got up pretty early instead of wasting my day, like I usually do.
I then proceeded to drive to taco bell, where I ate a bunch of food, but most notably, the mighty "cheesy gordita crunch", which is awesome.
I wasn't happy today. I wasn't sad either. Wasn't even really bored.
Just waiting until my time is up, and then life will truly begin.
Hopefully I can regain some of the things I've been forced to lose.

I wouldn't really call myself a fan but I do feel that something like Appetite was much needed at the time. For one to be "critical" I don't have to have sold millions of records or have accomplished anything. I have formed an extremely low opinion of Axl because that's the image he's created for himself over the years. Anyone that's taken as long as he has to record one single album isn't a genius, they're more like a joke.

Axl Rose a "genius"? How about a washed up, woman-beating, riot inciting, overweight, botoxed loser that can't sing worth a fuck and has taken in excess of ten years just to release one album (and it still hasn't come out yet). Genius? Far from it.

Axl is a genius and an amazing performer.
You get goose bumps when this guy comes out on stage. There is no one like him.
So, people take their chances.
Geffen has invested, and Geffen has done the right thing. They've already been paid by the release of the Greatest Hits and Axl's touring.
I guarantee Chinese Democracy will be a world wide #1 album, and it will sell many millions (even with downloading the way it is). I don't think Geffen is sweating.

the house next to me has had 3 or four different tenants. the last family that lived there let their kids play with firearms. bullets would graze by here . the people that live there now let their doberman run loose despite the fact that it caused a fatal car accident and serious injuries to another passenger. the guy bled to death on my lawn, it was horrendous. we've called animal control twice the familly of the deceased called as well. animal controll never showed up. the dog still runs loose.

Check out the band Down. They are new and have put out 3 albums. All are good. The first two are better than the third though. They are hardrock/metal. The singer is Phil Anselmo from Pantera, who is awesome.
Other than that, I follow Glenn Hughes a lot. He was the bass player and a vocalist in the later line ups in Deep Purple. He is awesome, and continues to put out solo albums pretty consistently. He does a lot of different styles. Funk, rock etc. He has a new album coming out in May, and I like the samples I heard.

Alice in Chains is so underrated. I don't think they have been fully appreciated. The might be the most copied band in the last 15 years. There are so many of today's bands trying to sound like them. It is so blatant, it should be embarrassed to those bands.
But AIC is the kind of music that you listen to on a rainy day, when things aren't going well. It is very dark music. Very powerful.
There was always this sense that it was going to end, and end badly. A sense of impending doom.

I haven't had whiskey in a long time. I can't drink it anymore. It's disgusting to me.
The buzz can be excellent though. It is quite a special buzz, depending of course on the type.
I tried to drink some several months ago. I poured a cup, took one sip, and poured it back in the bottle. Couldn't drink it.
I used to drink Jack Daniel's a lot. It was one of my primary drinks, especially when going out. A few shots of Jack, plus Jack and cokes would be what I would drink.
