Wolfmother - it's like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The White Stripes all fused into one band! These guys rock, and are one of my favourite bands! Try "Joker & the Thief" or "Love Train".
Arctic Monkeys - probably the leaders of the current Indie rock scene over in England, and they're fucking cool, man! Try "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor" or "Flourescent Adolescent".
Dream Theater - a Progressive Metal band who never fail to amaze me with their virtuosity. Try "Pull Me Under" or "Take the Time".
The Fratellis - another British Indie band. Check out "Chealsea Dagger" or "Creeping Up the Backstairs".
Muse - Possibly the greatest modern Rock band? Try "Knights of Cydonia" or "Invincible".
My Chemical Romance - They're actually a really good band, BEFORE The Black Parade. Anything on The Black Parade is a bad example of their music. Try "Demolition Lovers" or "Vampires Will Never Hurt You".

Beck is great. He's another one of those '60s Blues/Rock players I just seem to love.

My favourite guitarists:
1. Jimmy Page
2. Eric Clapton
3. Jeff Beck
4. Jimi Hendrix
5. David Gilmour

It started out as me, an average Australian teenager listening to stuff on Triple J. Alot of my favourite artists like Wolfmother, MCR (mind you this was before Black Parade) were influenced by Led Zeppelin, so I decided to check them out. I bought BBC Sessions and was absolutely blown away by the power and raw energy of this band.. I think my favourite track at the time was You Shook Me or Immigrant Song. Soon I bought their other albums, starting with IV, then on Boxing Day I bought I, II and Presence on sale for about AUD$27. And I slowly bought all the others.
And Led Zeppelin is what got me into Classic Rock.. I'm a fan of bands like Pink Floyd, The Who, The Yardbirds, Cream etc. as well. And Zeppelin also got me into the Blues, as I was intrigued by Jimmy Page's virtuosic guitar playing in songs like You Shook Me, Dazed and Confused, I Can't Quit You Baby. Jimmy Page was also my influence to start playing the guitar.

Omfg every time I try to post a picture it doesn't let me, and it tells me this:
"Sorry, dynamic pages in the tags are not allowed"

And why should I post a picture of myself..?

Wow.. Stewart thinks that Jimmy page copied their lineup of a guitarist, singer, drummer and bassist.. well hears news for him: about a million other bands had the same lineup before & after the Jeff Beck group.

Lul, if you want more of that say 'aye'

That 'Z' looking thing is supposed to be the symbol for Saturn, which symbolises Capicorn, Jimmy's birth symbol. He also said it was a symbol which could be found in any standard occult symbols dictionary, which actually isn't the case
But I personally have seen the symbol in writing before, in a NON Zeppelin related topic. It was in a picture of some old sheet of paper with heaps of symbols all over it.
