  1. You know, you're not supposed to post your own reaction (:wacko: ) within my own statement.

Also, the ":D" indicates some ammount of sarcasm. Or in the least, you take my statement as lightheartedly as I took yours. Are you reaching for a disagreement?

  2. My boyfriend talking about things like buying me a ring :)

As in... THE ring. THAT ring. We've only been dating for about 9 months, though, and I told him to wait another half a year.

It was something which totally cheered me up, tho, cuz apparently someone was throwing my name all over the board the other day... ugh. BUT NOW I AM HAPPY. Yays :)

  3. The best book in my opinion is Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere. It's co-written by Matt Kent, which for those not in the know means it's AMAZING. It gives you a chapter for each year of their existence (up until Moon's death) and even has day by day logs of their activities. You can't beat it.

I agree with this kid. I have that, and it's HUGE! Lots of shexxxy pictures of the guys (:P) and a hell of a lot of excellent information. Plus, like he said, co-written by Matt Kent, giving it some credibility.

  4. Personally, I say... Congrats on the extra dough, Electrophile! Those bastard corporation c*** s will NOT miss all the extra money. At Walmart as a cashier, I probably made that same mistake the barista made several times. Ahem. Mistake. A real Robin-Hood type I was :D

Also... what made me happy? My bf came back from his brother-brother camping trip and now I get to be spoiled and pampered once more. Weeeeeh. Plus Phifer(spelling) in catsuit = hot. Meow.

  5. No - but that's a hell of a good idea for me to follow up on. I tend to not buy anything I haven't yet gotten a sample of previously, and I haven't heard any solo Entwistle from any source - or even had a clue he offered any. I'm sure the guy could just stand there alone, and still deliver...

He has several albums. His earlier 70s' work is better than his later music. I suggest getting Smash Your Head Against the Wall. You can probably find samples of it on some site. Like Amazon or sumthin'.

  6. I personally believe that Myers would be a good pick. I used to have a pic from my fan-girl days of the Whoi, and Moon looked EXACTLY like Myers in it. Very creepy. Moon had put on a bit of weight in the face by that point, of course, but they could have been twins.

And Shwartzman is good, but I wouldnt want to see him as Moon.

  7. OOoh, Danzig! What's your fave song, Bonnie?

Also, what made me happy today: bf ruining camping plans with me to go with his brother. Oh, wait, that's what PISSED ME OFF today :( Is there one of those threads? So I'll try again.

What made me happy today: knowing that my stupid bf had to work, and has a whole week of work ahead of him, while *I* don't have to and can lazy about at my leisure! AHAHA!

  8. I used to be a member of that a very long time ago, but I left it for this board because of the closeness of the posters, and the friendly atmosphere. That was about 2 years ago. I think it's about time I went back!;)

  9. As far as I'm concerned, Pete is and always will be, just a cranky ol' bastid :P

On the topic of Tommy up there somewhere... bah. There are much better albums. Mainly the Who Sell Out. I enjoyed one of the releases where they had several people come and do voices, Rod Stewart as local boy, Sandy Denny appeared on the album, a few other people. Fun.

  10. I dearly miss Pete's cynical little blogs. So very much. I remember when he wrote that book on blog.net or whatever... ah, good times :) The conversations that flew between fans in the comments section were excellent. And Pete's dreams that followed, about making his story come true, were an interesting idea. Yet they fell flat. He'll be trying to make the Lifehouse project work til he dies...
