On the musical score it is open e, however in a JP interview he stated that he invented the tuning when discussing DADGAD...and a friend played it once but I'm unable to find it. There is nothing worse than spending months learning a tune the wrong way....been there done that (thanks to guitar world), aint doin it again. Anyone?
