boogie woogie
As many of you know Mick Jagger has formed a new band called SuperHeavy. I'm not a Stones or Jagger expert but I know the Stones have varied influences including reggae. I thought it was great to hear Jagger mix it up with different musicians including musicians from other cultures. This new project by Mick Jagger reminds me a little of what Plant/Peter Gabriel/sting et al have done so well. Mick Jagger, Dave Stewart, Joss Stone, AR Rahman and Damian Marley got together at L.A.'s Jim Henson Studios on Thursday to preview their new SuperHeavy album and talk to a few invited guests about one of the most anticipated records of the fall. I found a few sound bites on YouTube.
Jahfin
There's already a SuperHeavy thread here.
