And Led Zeppelin has really changed my life. The music they created, and just the whole spirit of the band has changed my ways of thinking a lot. It makes me really happy, and thankful, that I've gotten into them at a young age.
And WOW, 1977.. front row center for four nights!!!

Sugar Plum...your stuff is awesome...your website is fantastic!! I'm so inspired...I wish I knew how to put my pieces together on a website like that. I have about 75 completed canvases still in my possession, that I've done. All the rest I've sold or given away throughout the years....
For you to be 20 years old and have been hit by the Zep spirit that hard is astonishing...
I'm getting ready to turn 50, and my oldest daughter is 20...I have 3 girls.
I saw Led Zep 5 times...4 nights FRONT ROW CENTER...at The Capital Center in MD in 1977....those were and still are the BEST shows I've EVER seen.
I love LED ZEPPELIN!!! ...

Plant just signed my painting last Sat in Asheville!
A few folks asked about particulars on getting this signed. I got very lucky....I thought my wife and I would have backstage passes..(which we did aquire...the DAY AFTER THE SHOW!!)..I took the painting to the front of the stage and Robert asked security to bring it back it back to him he wanted to see it. He signed it, though this was the first time I DIDN'T get to talk with Robert...even for a minute. I did talk with T-Bone and we had an escort through the whole backstage to our car as they were afraid someone would try and steal it now that it was signed.
This piece is oil and is 24 X 36 witha wooden frame.
I have done many paintings of Plant over the years...some of which I've actually personally handed to Robert!!!

Well, here are some of my latest Zep pieces..
I think I'm just going to cut out the rectangle with Robert and Jimmy in this one.. I don't really like the background. It's not completely finished either..:

It kind of looks like it's snowing on Jimmy in this one Sugar Plum your work is STUNNING!!! Thanks for sharing it.

I believe he wore those shorts onstage at the Gorge in Washington State (5/27/95).
Would be interested to hear where and when those photos were taken.
These pictures were taken in the Boulderado Hotel in Boulder<CO on Sunday May 7, 1995 at around 4:00pm.

On Flying Circus....while Robert is talking about walking four blocks in the snow you can hear him let a huge sag paneer fart....on a good stereo I swear you can almost smell it 37 years later....

This photo was taken May 7th 1995 in the Hotel Boulderado in Boulder, CO. I've been very lucky and have had the fortune of meeting Robert, Jimmy, and Jason. Jimmy I've met twice. Robert I first met in 82. I have had a few conversations with Robert. Hopefully I'll have another Jan 2011 and get him to sign this new painting I'm doing of him. He's already signed one of my paintings!
