  1. Oh come on. Don't make me sound so sinister. Geez, what am I, Otto? He's the one who's always trying to rile you up, not me.

I bet if someone they respect - like a Cameron Crowe - came to the boys with a great script and some talented actors to play them, they'd warm to the idea. They've changed their minds before.

    Love,

    Billy

Cameron Crowe would be a brilliant director/writer. :o IDEA! Maybe if Crowe did a film based on his experiences when he toured with the band interspersed with clips of the band live and some other stuff.

  2. "South California Purples"

I just love the "Fat" Bass, and the horns/organ/guitar work on this track... :D

I was lucky to see Chicago in 1972, just before they took off to their pop-commercial era, they were just foraying into it... One of the most satisfying rock shows of the year, for me !! The had perfect sound for that auditorium, something that happens because you make it happen, and not by chance. The highlight of that live show was one of the encore numbers, a jammin' version of "Free".

Your right, its such a cool track, me and my friend sometimes have a little jam to it lol.

:o i would give anything to see them at that period. It's such a shame not more of their shows at that time were recorded on audio or video. I don't think theres ever been an official release of CTA-Chicago 3 area. Well, apart from Live At Carnegie Hall

  3. I was lucky enough to see them live a couple of times ( 71/72 ). Free Form Guitar/ California Purples , I'm A Man, 25 or 6 to 4 were all Kath trademarks. However, It wasn't just about TK, the whole band was great !

:o just listening to the live version of South Californian Purples from carniegie hall blows my mind. Introduction sounds freakin awesome too.

  4. Love CTA. Terry Kath was amazing . Thought they completely lost the plot after his untimely death

Yeh, Kath was (still is) one of the best. I still can't get over the sustain he gets on 'Listen', i'ts too amazing! I remember reading somewhere Hendrix was a big fan.

  5. i got all the official stuff and thought: 'what was that thing called...bootleg?'. So yeh, not the best of starts but i loved (still do) the sessions and demos so i bought 'Led Zeppelin-Physicaly Present' on CD. From there, i didnt buy anymore but instead downloaded. I am still on the look out for Led Zep LP bootlegs but they are always so bloody expensive and i never have any money :(

  6. Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear that, ledzep45. :console2: She did live with a wonderful, loving owner, you, for 16 years. I send you my heartfelt condolences. :(

I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your dog. My first cat died recently and i still miss her. I sometimes think i hear her meowing. But then i realize, it's my second cat :)

Thank your kind thoughts Fan_s and ~tangerine~ :)

  7. Omg I'm so sorry about your dog! She lived for a good age, and at least you ended her pain. I' so so sorry :console: I know how much pets mean to us, to help you, you should keep some of her stuff and photos.

Don't mean to intrude just a tip, it helped me through it.

    Again I'm so sorry.

Thank you for your kind words. Your not intruding (if thats how to spell it), luckily we took some photos of us with her a few days ago so we can keep those as memories of her.

  8. I was posting a " May Michael Jackson rest inpeace" on a Utube video and then this other Utuber is sending me messages say that Jackson was nothing to music but was a pervet and that the world is better without him and that everyone should be happy that he is dead. :tears: I keep deleting them but they keep coming.

I don't understand how poeple can be so disrespectful.

Im sorry to hear of the nasty comments sent to you :console:

my dog had to be put down today :'( she was 16 so its not so bad.

  9. Thank you everybody for your kind words.

Im sorry to hear about the loss of your cat tangerine and yours Fan_s. I had 2 kittens a few years ago that got run over :( It was very upsetting as i was younger at the time (and i would be upset now too, but more so then). We are trying to get the speed limit reduced so people stop hurting (or killing) peoples pets. I cant count how many times pets have been hurt :(

  10. I keep getting a message about encoding to make the document readable, my choices are windows (default), MS-DOS or Other Encoding with a list of all different things.... Why can't they make computers easy to use!!

Yeh! I use a free program called 7-zip. Right click then click extract files then press ok on the next window.
