How's it going "ledzep45?" I LOVE GENESIS! I also love PHIL COLLINS, MIKE & THE MECHANICS & PAUL CARRACK'S 1970's band ACE. Who can forget PETER GABRIEL, I always love his 1980's hit song "Sledgehammer." Great thread "ledzep45!" ROCK ON!
Thanks ZeppFanForever

Am I alone in thinking they should remaster and expand the 1973 live album. Make it a doubte album.
I think they are making a live boxset (like the recent remarstered boxsets) and no you are not alone, it would be nice to have them in remarstered condition

b]i wish they would all get together for a tour.
Yeh, that would be awsome, but on the most recent genesis tour he said no so I don't think he will
-
Do wew think that they will get back together with the classic Gabriel lineup again next year ???...that would be cool and would like to see that . The Collins lead lot did a few good things..ie some good songs but a bit polished, i saw them on a bill at Knebworth 1990 but it didn't really rock my boat.
But the pre 75lineup would great to see in my mind, my friend saw them twice with Gabriel and said they were geat..lets see if its going to happen.
Cool. My uncle a really big genesis fan and in the 70's he went up to london with his friend to see somebody (I can't remember who) and when they got their tickets, they were offered Genesis tickets for the lamb tour. Him and his friend wern't fans at the time so they said no. They were kicking themselves 6 months later. Gutted

I am getting into the Gabriel Genesis era at the moment. My fav genesis album (at the moment) is Selling England By The Pound. So, anybody else like Genesis?

Saw Quantam of Solace. (sp?) It was pretty good. I didn't see Casino Royal all the way through so some of it I didn't understand. However, the action scenes were good.Quantum of Solace - great movie.
Q.O.S wasn't that great. The action sequences-yeh, the stunt guys did a good job but the camera was zoomed in all the time so you cxouldn't see what was going on. Same with the editing, they could have used wider shots or made each shot (in the action sequences) longer. If you compare Q.O.S to C.R its not that great.
(My rant is finished)

Well, just when you thought you've heard it all...
I just ordered this set- by all accounts, it will turn your copies of "Flying Circus" into beer coasters. Allegedly, the true master tapes found their way into a professional recording studio and got cleaned up and mixed to perfection. Utterly amazing, from what I've heard.
You can read more about it on Underground Uprising. I'll post a review once my copy arrives.
Thanks for letting us know
