  1. I have been away working for the last three months. This weekend we went to the theatre to see Angles and Demons. I thought the movie was alright but i liked the book much more. I don't like it when the movie deviates from the book! We also watched Grand Torino and Australia at home on blue ray. I liked both of these but I really enjoyed Clint! :D

  2. My exact words from post #24 were: Did you know Moon killed a man by driving a limousine over him?

To try to twist the meaning of that very matter of fact statement into 'painting a picture of someone who got away with murder' and Moon 'was hysterically hopping around the car while the driver stood behind the bumper trying to calm him and instead, Moon backs him over to shut him up' makes me wonder if (1.) you've downed a few yourself or (2.) are having paranoid delusions or (3.) just full of shit or (4.) 14 years old or (5.) all of the above.

Can't say for sure about the others, bigstick, but I am positive about (3.)

Anytime you want me to show you how to play those post '70 Moon licks, just let me know, won't take but three or four minutes. Not because I'm a great drummer or anything, it's just those Moon licks are so simple to play. If we were talking about Bonzo, it could take years. B)

  3. I just finished Ken Follet's Pillars of the earth and world without end. Both are excellent. I am currently reading John Grisham's The appeal. and it is not very good...might not Finnish it. Not a lot of good coming out of the Grisham camp these days I'm afraid IMO.

  4. I have been lucky enough to see rush 7 times, starting in the late 70's. Nice to see the boys putting on such a long show now(usually about the two hour mark in the 80's) but with such a large catalogue you almost have to do three plus hours. I still like the older stuff more, 2112 hemispheres, a farewell to kings moving pictures.Definitely three very talented musicians!!

  5. I saw THE WHO last month and they rocked!!! I saw them on their first farewell tour in 82 and I think the band sounded better now. I thought daultrys voice may have lost a step before the show but was I ever wrong! The man sounded amazing! Couldn't help but think that Led Zeppelin should be on the road though.

  6. Mr. Jones I seem to remember in the 1980s that when Led Zeppelin IV went diamond here in Canada that Q107 was saying that there was "one" special diamond edition album to be released for sale to one lucky album buyer. I believe that diamond album status in Canada at the time was one million copies sold. Do you have any information about this album and what was involved in this promotion? Thanks in advance. :D

  7. Once again:

The "Zoso" symbol is from a book known as the The Red Dragon or Grand Grimoire, an occult book published in the 16th century. The symbol stands for Saturn which is the ruling planet of Capricorn, Page's birth sign. And yes, sometimes it is just that simple! ;)

And just to go a little deeper as I've posted this in this thread repeatedly, let's take it apart piece by piece. The "Z" is a version of the symbol for Capricorn. The "S" is for Saturn. The bisecting line and "O"s symbolize Saturn's rings.

After reading this forum This HAS to be the answer...It just makes sense :D
