  1. I got pulled over by the PC police. Maybe I should have called her a "squermin' dog" who's having her day.

Ah, the things some people find to be offended by.

Or, you know, you could do what those rockstars do and show some respect, even if it isn't your thing. It's called, you know, showing a decent amount of respect for another human being.

  2. Calling Lady Gaga "thing" highly insulting and vulgar? This is a rock 'n' roll site isn't it? This takes me back to the days when women got up in arms over the words to "Under My Thumb".

Just because we like Rock N Roll DOES NOT mean we excuse the vulgar sayings of people. If you want to insult a musician who is just doing her thing and making a ton of money at the same time, go for it, but you'll get flak for it, and you just did.

That's my own personal list. Also I believe it has been disproved about cameras being at The Summit, Houston, Texas.

  4. At least Led Zeppelin didn't have guest artist sitting in on songs. The Stones seem to have a need for the special guest BS. I draw the line at Lady Gaga sitting in on "Gimme Shelter" as that's my favorite song to hear the Stones do live and when you have that thing singing on it you've done muddied up my creek.

Thing? Although I am not into Lady Gaga I find that highly insulting to refer to her as a "thing".

  5. Grandma has vascular dementia. Granted it isn't bad yet, it can really only get worse. Good thing though is she is gonna quit smoking and start exercising more and eating better. She had some deadly blood pressure about a week or so ago when she was in the hospital (200 range) and she is currently in a nursing home. My grandpa, her husband, and my aunt, her daughter, visit her daily. She is also getting physical therapy which is going good, so things are looking up for her.

  7. Didn't the tour end in Aug 2000, due to Jimmy having back problems? I was in grad school at the time and had no idea they had gotten together until it was already over! Saw the Crowes many times in the early 90's - starting with them opening for Plant on the Manic Nivana tour. Great live band! :yesnod:

You'd be correct! I really think Page and The Black Crowes should tour again and do a full collaboration album as well. I really think they work great together.

  8. Back in 1999 and 2000 (as well as one performance in 2011 and 1995), Jimmy Page joined The Black Crowes onstage for a tour in those 2 years, doing some Black Crowe songs as well as some Zeppelin tunes. A lot of bootleg footage and audio exists of this show. This is personally my favorite of Pages post-Zeppelin "projects", a shame they didn't do a full album, but I am thankful for what we do have!

  9. Oh, don't get blue. It's such a cold colour, not passionate. Whenever I see a girl with blue toes, I always think she's saying 'I don't want you looking at my feet, you pervert'.

No, go for red - or candy pink, or maybe bright orange?

Ooh pink is cute! :3 I love blue though, like I said. I dunno, too many colors to pick from! D:

  10. What colour polish do you think you'll get? I think I'd go for metallic whore red.

btw I don't think I should post in your thread any more - I seem to have become a troll magnet. Sorry about that. Some people are so immature.

I like red as well! Maybe blue. And don't worry about it.

  11. The shit your throwing at theStones & The Quo you could aim at AC/DC or Rush

Except Rush continues to push new ground with their songs, pushing themselves and haven't deteriorated over the years? Rush hardly deserves any flack really. AC/DC still pump out mega riff hit after hit, they still got it and still have energy.

I'm always on the hunt for official Pearl Jam official bootlegs, as well as unofficial. I've got the Mookie Blackylock demos, basically Ten but "first take" recordings so to speak, really great stuff but I can see why they re-recorded it, Ten sounds much better.
