This will serve as a "two-in-one" posting....I've recently uploaded pictures of The Police, from 1982, to my blog, with some words about the show:

And, for you guitar enthusiasts, I also posted my photos of the incredible Richard Thompson, of Fairport Convention fame, from his one-and-only tour with his wife Linda Thompson, in the U.S. ...... also from 1982:

I've been particularly busy lately, putting together an ongoing blog of my photo archives, and I've just uploaded a prime selection of The Rolling Stones 1981 Tour, from the two shows they did in Kentucky, that year.
Here are few samples, and you can take a peek at the rest, here:

It has been a while, and as I was going through some of my saved items from years ago, I came upon these snapshots, and one 8x10, that were given to me in trade for some of my Louisville '77 pix, by a Ms. Peggy Morris.
I have long since lost contact with her, but thought I'd share them here. I've put the copyright watermark on the images, so as to prevent any ill-will, should she not have wanted the images put out there, without full consent.......so, Peggy, if you're out there somewhere, drop a line and say hello
Not having had much time to do the detective work, as I have been very busy with my other concert photos this year, I cannot help but notice that the picture of Jimmy Page playing the mandolin, looks very much like the same angle for the acoustic shots in the first series shown?!! But, these others don't seem to be so close, angle-wise, so any info would be appreciated.
Again, I hope that Ms. Morris doesn't mind me sharing these, but they should be seen, I feel.....very little editing was done, btw:

beetleron,
Nice work on the Jeff Beck and Edge images!
I've seen both artists, but only managed a few snapshots of U2, due to time and legal constraints [The Amnesty International Tour....which, unfortunately, forbids publication without permission from AI....].

Michael, your return was eagerly awaited by me, as you last said it will take few weeks...You are so warm, kind to share some fantastic photos from your collection....
loved all of these photos, glad you captured the Police, my fav, post-zep era. my fav. Andy Summers;
Looking forward to your next collection, if any more of Zep, always loved and awaited...I totally loved the way you captured Jimmy Page....it was too perfect, the atmosphere, as it was, intoxicating!!! Beautiful...
THANK YOU AGAIN,
...and I wish you the very best of health and happiness...
Dear PlanetPage,
Your comments are most welcome [the praise almost gives me reason to blush!], and I am delighted that you found some other favorites amongst my additional concert photos [Andy Summers & The Police]!
I've slowly been working on the collection, and have not given enough time yet, to finish the last few images from the Louisville '77 show, but I will rectify that in the coming weeks, as I wanted to deal with the artists who are currently on tour, or about to take the stage again soon [Tom Petty, and The Stones]. Now that they have been edited, I can return to the Zeppelin show.
Once again, thank you for your very lovely comments and wishes, and I sincerely hope you also keep in grand health and fine spirits!
More to follow in the coming weeks, at which time I will post a notice, here and at the Louisville link, when the time arrives.....

Hello!
Rather than post a whole lot of photos on this page, I will invite you to take a look at this link, where you can view pictures of The Who, The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The Pretenders, The Cocteau Twins, and a few more bands/performers [so far]:

These would be in addition to the Led Zeppelin pictures that I've already posted from the Louisville, Kentucky, 1977 show, on this website.
I hope you enjoy what you see, and thanks for the opportunity to post a note here!
Michael
Post pictures from concerts you have been to (If you did take pictures)! (:

It has been a while, and over the years, I've managed to work on a few more photos from my archives. The latest, being The Kinks, from their 1980 and 1982 tours of the U.S.
Here are a few choice ones, and a link to read about, and see more, from the shows.
