An Englishman, an Irishman, and Scotsman man are drinking in a bar.
A fly lands in the Englishman's whiskey. The Englishman is incensed, and pushes his drink away in disgust and asks the bartender politely for another.
A fly lands in the Scotsman's man's glass. The Scottish man looks at the fly, shrugs, laughs, and just drinks the fly down without a problem.
A fly lands in the Irishman's glass and the Irishman is absolutely furious. He picks out the fly, and violently shakes the fly over his glass while screaming, "Spit it out ya wee bastard!"

I am frightened for our future.
Yep

Absolutely tragic.
Number killed is at 14. Several news sources, and also some in law enforcement are mentioning the name Sayed Farook (or Saeed Farooq) as being "of interest" in this event.

BTW D&C was filmed in the 90's.
I love how you hold up Wooderson, a (fictional) man in his early 20's who still socializes with high school students and hits on teenage girls, as the epitome of cool.
Yep, the older he gets they just stay the same

I'm not really part of that generation (born 1984), but whatever. Just trying to keep all the 'back in my day' posts in check.
No problem..

LOL SW, you aren't even a mildly interesting bridge dweller, either intentionally or by accident.
I like this one too...

Lucas is asked which Star Wars character he would be if given the option. The director responds that although he loves all the characters found within the franchise, he had to go with Jar Jar Binks.
Which is why he must now die.

Boeing B-17 bombers. And here is an interesting observation; you could provide the blueprints for every single part of these aircraft to the entire world and there are probably less then 20 nations who could re-engineer these babies and be able to produce even one of them again and that is a fact.

She is stunning!!! As far as I'm concerned.
You said it, stunning!!!!
Dana Delany really is, I haven't been able to take my eyes off her for her entire career and she just kept getting better looking as she got older. I love her sort of sarcastic and playful demeanor as well.
Here is another thing, Dana Delany is almost 60 years old. I doubt that most of the many pages of photos of women in this thread will look as good as her at even 40.

Kind of a topic along the lines of the beautiful women thread, except here you must post only the beauties from the 50's and 60's
I liked the girl next door types from that era the most because they seemed closer too my age. Shelly Fabres, Sally Feild, Sandra Dee, Tuesday Weld, Carol Lynley, Karen Valentine, Dawn Wells, Angela Cartwright

For those interested in the names and stories of those killed this week here in Southern California here is an article from the Los Angeles Times with their names and their stories. Sadly some of the people who died were from other lands who came here to seek a better life; a life that was cut short for reasons we are all familiar with.
