Anyone here like Lock Up The Wolves album?

Dio’s best days were in Rainbow, what was Ritchie thinking going for a more commercial and generic sounding singer when he went for Joe Lynn Turner, nothing Ritchie Blackmore did ever came close to the Dio albums again.
Bad choice he made.

It's a great album, really enjoying it, but of the albums they've made since Halford returned, I think Redeemer of Souls and Angel of Retribution are better.
I guess to each his own John.

Baroque with the diminished fifth was the Black Sabbath of the day, but you should've known that? lol
Yes I knew that, the Devil's Tritone, that's in the song Black Sabbath, it was forbidden to play back in the day.

I am no expert but, what attracted me to both classical music and heavy metal were aspects like a rapid change in tempo and all the unexpected twists and turns within a composition. I really love heavy metal songs with complex and unexpected chord progressions. You never know what's going to happen next, while listening! Both genres of music really relax my mind and help me de-stress!
I think you'll like this meme
Pretty cool kiwi.

Tchaikovsky wrote alot of riffs! He even had canons firing during the 1812 overture.
For those about to rock, we salute you!

I always heard that classical music was the heavy metal of yesteryear.

Oprah is not the answer. Someone like Condoleezza Rice would be more qualified.
I think you’re right Strider.

Sad story for her. That was her prerogative. I never touch the stuff.
If you really think I am angry, you are even more thin-skinned and whinier than I suspected. Don't worry, I am done with you...it's obvious you are a lost cause or a troll. I'll leave you alone in your bubble.
I'll now go tell my marijuana-smoking friends with cancer what dopes they are.
If it eases their pain I say go fo it, cancer is a terrible thing.
The Whitney Houston thing was tragic.

Not quite. Unlike our politicians, all males in the royal family are required to serve in the military and to my knowledge, every one has served on the front lines in combat during times of war. Also, they are pretty much the vanguard for all charitable endeavors in the UK and act as ambassadors of good will across the globe. So in reality, they do work quite hard.
My only quip with the Royal Family is that they pretty much control the bulk of European Banking. They are shit ton rich yet they did not really make a dime of it. All old money pilfered from countries like India and Africa + compound interest over centuries.
So like anything else, a mixed bag.
At least they were smarter than the Portuguese who had about the same colonies or more and ended up with nothing.

They were the first band I saw live back in '72. George Hall, Bradford. The drums were covered with flowers as if for a funeral. Towards the end Ozzy grabbed a bunch and threw them into the audience... I caught them! The flowers dried up but I kept the dried stems for a few years until my Mum threw them out one day when she was cleaning!!
Cool story Victor!

I don’t know what to make of Ozzy saying what he said, regarding the Sabbath reunion.
