Wish I could have made that did see Deep Purple a few times the last being in Solerno Italy i believe in 88
I have hundreds of Stubs in frames around my house, so i will nor piss everyone off posting them all, would take a weekHere is two...
Wet day, some bad bands on the bill, but Purple were magnificent, Blackmore came on in wellies and is my 2nd fave gig of all time !!!
Hot weather, crap support again but it was Freddies last gig and that makes this a good one to have gone too

Hey Al did you go to the 1976 World Wide Texas Tour at Tulane Stadium? ZZ Top w/Lynyrd Skynyrd and the J Geils Band then the day of the concert they announced Skynyrd canceled
and a riot broke out. I'll never forget that day, the first last and only concert they ever held
at that stadium not counting superbowl shows.
Then the next chance I had to see the original line up was in Baton Rouge where the flight was due in from Greenville SC only to go down in Mississippi. Sad day in southern rock history.
Sorry it took Me so long to answer but I have not had a lot of computer time latley staying busy .
The answer is Yes saw ZZ-Top at the Warehouse in 74 ,Tad Gormley Stadium in 75 and 76 I believe the tickets are posted either on the Southern Music thread or the Concert Stub Thread.Hope You are feeling better

Def Leppard,Poison and Cheap Trick in August at the New Orleans Arena at least that is the only planned show sometimes they just happen unexpected like . So You never Know whats really next.

The new Queen with Paul Rogers cd and the new Bruce Springsteen have not listened to Bruce yet but I like the queen cd it sounds more like Paul Rogers solo efforts to Me but I love Him to death so it is all good.
