  1. I love them :lol: Totally campy but I don't care. They're fun to listen and sing along to. Although Micky was my favorite, I'm more drawn to some of the darker songs from Mike Nesmith such as Love Is Only Sleeping and The Door Into Summer but I'm just as happy belting out Mary Mary, She etc. (i'm sure my neighbors aren't).

I actually saw them minus Nesmith several years ago :lol:

  2. Robo and I got to go to an early screening of the Kite Runner. (Her english class read the book, so they all went and brought people and stuff.) It was absolutely amazing. I don't know when it actually comes out, but when it does, you should all go and see it.

I'm so glad to hear that. The book was absolutely incredible - sad and uplifting at the same time. His follow up book A Thousand Splendid Suns was just as moving. I think the movie doesn't open by me for a couple more weeks but I do intend to see it.

  3. Go easy on Fenix Pilot, he's just wanting the event to go as perfectly as possible. And yes my friend, I suppose that outboard is sounding pretty good about now. Okay you win, we'll make room :D I'm so easy :o Okay maybe not THAT easy B)

Now Pilot, we're in crunch time. One week left. As much as the drinks sound great, I'm fully committed to being a complete success and making you proud. After the show is another story entirely of course.

    :D

  4. Hey Pilot, I think I needs me one of those hot toddies - the final rounds of training have knocked me on my arse and my head feels like it weighs more than the pedalo

  5. I'm a newly converted White Stripes fan (thank Aqua :yay: ) and sadly haven't heard the Raconteurs yet :o:ph34r: so I'd love to hear others' thoughts on them as well.

I absolutely LOVE Icky Thump as well as White Blood Cells and Elephant. They played my area right when I returned from holiday in a huge stadium and truthfully, I think I'd rather see them for the first time in a bit of a smaller setting.

  6. Let me introduce you to my great friend Plantonic, Manders, at whose side I have swooned in musical appreciation at a number of Robert Plant shows and once at Robert Plant himself!

We have also done other stuff, but I'm hitting on the high points. B)

She is indeed a lovely lovely lady :D
