Kashmir.
Once again this instant list thing is a lazy mutherfuck.

Sting once slammed Bob Marley in an interview and went on to say The Police weren't influenced by him at all. The backlash was so harsh it wasn't long before he retracted that statement.
I guess he in turn influenced Kingdom Come....

One of the members said bad things about the Clash
the halfass Clash dissed the Clash?
-
I'd like em if Sting didnt sing like a Bob Marley vegas loungeact fool. The music is good.

Whatever it is, my song list thingy is a lazy fuck that isnt showing it.

At this point, I talk about the stones in past tense...64-74.

According to my sig, I figured out my lastfm song thing.

Europe Endless by Kraftwerk.
....which should have been titled 'this song is endless'.

No wait, thats Stevie Wonders Innervisions! Silly me.

BooyaH, jahfin throws a punch to the neck.
Ah, VH1 rules. Yeah.
The album, not the channel.
Vanhagar never occured. He left Montrose and I never heard anything from Hagar again. Thats my story.

Yay my favorite guitar guy! The only white blues guy I respect for his blues playing, not the generic guitar hero (yeah that was cute, now play something heavy/fast) angle. Claptons reputation (the 'god' one, not the overrated over the hill pussy soft rock one) should belong to this guy. Wonder if Pete still wears robes...

I've never seen anyone rock as hard as these punk motherf*ckers' !!
Punk with keyboards?
Blasphemy!
Plus, Jack Ruby could out-shred McLaughlin.

"Who Do We Think We Are" isn't too shabby either
Wasn't this released in the US under with a sticker that said:
'Woman From Tokyo! (w/ some other crap)'
I think truth in advertising might have hurt album sales there.

Kyuss, if they are considered metal.

Really when it comes to Sabbath, its whomever sang for Blackmore, vs everyone else.
Gillan
Hughes
Dio
....um
Joe Lynn Turner
Coverdale
Rod Evans
Candace Night
drum tech on the 'Burn' tour during soundcheck at the la forum 74.
Truly an impressive list of Sabbath/Purple alumni.
Bands can only hope to reach the lofty peaks of the Gillan years..
"Keep away from the digital bitch
Keep away from the digital bitch
She's so rich, the digital bitch"
I used to have my snazzy alarm clock play 'Laguna Sunrise' in the morning and 'Fluff' at night.

^He was great. The band was brutal though. The drummer had the worst sounding kit ever. Couldn't have been his real band (if he tours with one).

Page and Plant at the hollywood bowl in '98.
The awesome thing is that I didn't like zep at the time, and I didn't even convert at the show either.
Had to watch the Vh1 legends episode for that.
I found myself at a Dick Dale show during the Redondo beach lobster fest. around 2002-3.
That sounds like it shouldn't count...

No longer are they that band everyone talks about, that I've never given jack about.
I don't think I'll be building sacrificial altars in their honor though, even if it is a groovy album.

Zep fans hate the beatles for being better.
Its the inferiority complex that keeps on giving.
