  1. Van Halen (debut) is the only thing you need.

David Lee Roth (as observed by Kat) has no penis when wearing skin tight leather pants, and is exteremly full of himself (Sorry, Ali!)

Eddie Van Halen is a prick and it's GROSSLY OVERRATED.

    What the fuck?

Van Halen 1 is NOT all you need. Dance the Night Away is not on there. Hang 'Em High is not on there. I'll Wait is not on there. Everybody WAnts Some, D.O.A., Beautiful Girls, Romeo Delight, So This Is Love?.... not all their best song are on that album. That is one of the stupidest comments I have EVER heard. Sorry, mate, I know it's your birthday and all, but that's just insane.

No penis? I beg to differ... but I couldn't care less about that comment. And most rock stars are fuckin' full of themselves, it comes with the territory.

Eddie Van Halen overrated? Yeah right! Okay, he isn't Page, but he's a damn sight better than most guitarists. I can't say I care about his character much either, but he is still an amazing guitarist.

  2. Any fans of the band?

Seen them live on the reunion tour? (or before for that matter)

    Fav album?

    Fav Song?

    Fav Member?

    Discuss.

    I don't care that there's already a thread :) I want to answer the questions anyway :D

I love 'em, ain't seen 'em, love VH II, love Jump, love Roth :)

  3. The UEA! That's why it's especially exciting (Aside from the fact they are one of my newest favourite bands, and yeah, I think I prefer them to Metallica too) is cuz it's such a small venue! Only about 1000 or so people! It sold out in like, a day, and apparently tix were really slow getting out, but me and my dad got them in about 2 days!!

  4. Haha, that is a kick ass song. I'll always remember saying to my parents 'Oh, I'd like a Motley Crue CD for Christmas' and my mum said 'Oh, what songs do they do?' and me and my dad both burst into Girls, Girls, Girls, haha.

They do some lovely ballads too, Time For Change is just gorgeous!

  5. Oh yeah, but well, Vince was a bit of an ass. They all were. But hey're back together now, which is the main thing, although, the tracks I've herad from generation Swine from when they got back together in '97 ain't that great. They don't sound like Motley Crue. I like Glitter though, very much so. I have all their 80s albums, great stuff. Wild Side and Louder Than Hell are definately my favourites of the moment.

  6. Wow, Warrant. Cherry Pie is an awesome song. And I love LA Guns too, man, you are so lucky. And Ozzy and Metallica?? Man, what a combination! That must of been fantastic! The Crue and Whitesnake concert was probably '87, they toured with Whitesnake in the late 80s. Mick Mars wasn't too happy with it

I saw Motley Crue with Papa Roach in June this year, they are so underrated, Mick can really wail.

  7. Ah, you lucky sod!!!! I've seen Motley Crue (they put on the most amazing live show I have ever seen... and that was just mainly raw... no dancers, not much of a light show, not much pyro, just raw Crue- AMAZING) I'd KILL to see Ratt, Steven Pearcy has such a cool voice, and I love Cinderella's hair. I'd love to see Poison too, but they're looking a bit odd these days!

  8. Ahh, well, they are both metal, and the thread title doesn't state what kind of metal. Me, personally, I prefer hair metal (Motley Crue rule), but yeah, I love heavy metal (I'm getting more and more into it. I listen to it loud on the bus... and now I have the title 'The Wierd Girl Who Listens To Hard Rock' and they ask me if it hurts my ears. And I laugh )
