Excellent, Thanks for that Levee!!!!
My Brother sings that to my Husband quite often, but he changes the words, to "Brother-in-Law"!!!
Ha! you're welcome.
Artist Direct has a longer bio of him, if you are interested.

Excellent observation!
Thanks Bonham.......it could be her............

Thanks Sam - none-the-wiser, personally!
I'm sure Joel or someone could point me at some of his work that I might recognise.
Bio-
Ernie K-Doe scored one of the biggest hits (possibly the biggest) in the history of New Orleans R&B with "Mother-in-Law," a humorous lament that struck a chord with listeners of all stripes on its way to the top of both the pop and R&B charts in 1961. The song proved to be K-Doe's only major success, despite several more minor hits that were equally infectious, yet he remained one of New Orleans' most inimitable personalities.

Very few white guys can succeed at making good blues music. Bonamassa is not one of them.
He makes music for middle-aged white people and kids who don't know any better.
Is this carved in stone somewhere, or is it your opinion?

"Great" is a word that gets tossed around a lot. But this band is truly great.

No, of course not

Just starting to get in to him. Don't know what took me so long. He's good.

This one is dedicated to anyone who remembers it.
I do. Did you ever get to the top?

Hi Jimmy Jam!

This one's for Ev (note the shirt)--
Hey! I'm wearing that shirt right now. Very nice Aqua.
Are you giving us the finger and then had it photoshopped out?

^ the kind of tension that generally ends with eyes locking, then an embrace and/or pillowfight?
That's the one.

This is one of the funnier little convos I've read lately on here.
I know, I was here to watch it this morning. The tension was almost unbearable.

Sorry I missed it! My husband and I were big fans of the original show. We loved Belushi. There's a classic clip of him doing an imitation of Joe Cocker. We still laugh about it b/c we'd seen Joe Cocker in concert back in the day and Belushi did a great imitation of him. Speaking of the old SNL, back in the early days of the show, they'd sometimes make reference to or mention Zep in the context of a skit.
I remember a skit where a radio DJ did a on air commercial for a place called "Stairway To Headphones"

Yesterday, short before midnight
My husband and I, dressed in white to bring peace, hoping for a great 2008.
Happy New Year, everybody.
That's a wonderful picture of you and your husband Celia. I hope great things for the both of you in 2008!
I hear Knebby will posting a pic this year. That will be fun.

It feels like it will be a little warmer today, and the forecast calls for it to be in the 30's, but a chance of snow beginning tonight, into tomorrow.
Same here. Next week I'll be into my yearly looking at pictures of Malibu mood.

I rarely give them.
That's true. And I've always respected that.

Not having Reuben call me a "Man Servant" today. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Board.
I have come to realize that I have been crass, piggish and possibly disrespectful to one or more fine and upstanding female people here.
That said, I would like to apologize to their boobs for publically admiring them.
I realize that was, perhaps, a bit uncouth, inappropriate and ungentlemanly of me.
I pray that said boobs, who shall remain unnamed for modesty's sake, will accept my sincere apology
Thank you.

I was wondering as a one day waiver, in the spirit of Christmas, If you be apologizing to any "Man Boobs" here on the board? I'm not saying I have them.......I'm just saying...........

I've always liked them. "Skating Away" is one of my favorite songs.
