Forcing a playoff that won't end until some time in august and then just morphing into the new season doesn't make sense to me.  If you do it this way you can play in front of fans because by october if this shit with the lockdowns isn't over I don't think there will be any hockey or sports in general because the country might be in chaos.   Many small business are already closing because people cannot pay their bills. If it extends to the fall think of how many more businesses will go down and the reaction of the people could be extreme.

    Dallas might be a hub city. I can't get really excited about the start until they have a date. 

    If they do get the post season in, I wonder how this year's cup winner  will be thought of years from now.

    What did you think of "Touch of Evil"? Plenty of good lines in that movie. 30 years after making her debut Marlene Dietrich was still knocking 'em dead. Poor Janet Leigh never had any luck with roadside motels.

    I really liked Touch of Evil. I was thinking the same thing  about Janet Leigh...lol.  it's pretty amazing when you think of the directors she has worked with.. Wells , Hitchcock and John Carpenter during her role in The Fog.

    Nice.... I watched a little of it, but was in the middle of a few things at home, so couldn't pay as much attention as I would have liked. He sounded very subdued.

    I just recorded this last week. Watched the first 15 min , then the kids came in. I'll probably finish up tonight. I can't believe I haven't seen this in its entirety.   I could tell right off the top it's a classic John Carpenter score!

    We really need to next year.  Had lunch with my cousin at the Warf? I think that's the name of that area. It was pretty cool. But the sence of unease in the air was unmistakable.  It was the weekend of the 14th. Everything was just in the process of shutting down. Such a strange time..... be safe.
